Fire Department

We are one of the 4500 volunteer fire departments in Canada. Volunteer's are there to help our community members through their worst day ever and help diminish what could turn into life threatening and potentially terrible situations.

That's why we volunteer, to help out when it's needed the most and to try to make the difference in someone else's life. We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Regardless of your qualifications or previous experience, do not be afraid to try us out. If you have a willingness to learn and an interest to support your community, then come try out our practice nights or just see what we do. We pay for any training that will help further your future in the department. There is always a job for everyone in the fire department from interior firefighters, exterior firefighters, safety officers, fundraising workers, auxiliary members, etc.
