The Oakhill and District Fire Department responds to emergency calls, fires, life-threatening medical
emergencies, rescues and others. Many members are certified Medical First Responders
We are always ready to accept new members.
Your age or your abilities are not a factor. All training is free. If you are not sure fire fighting is right
for you, come along to a Tuesday night practices at 7 p.m. Your hands will
get dirty, you’ll sweat some too, and you’ll become part of an organization of men and women who share one
thing in common –
the volunteer spirit to help those in need

Ladies Auxiliary and several junior members. If you are between 11 and 15, male or female, you qualify to be a
Junior member.
