The Oakhill and District Fire Department responds to emergency calls, fires, life-threatening medical emergencies, rescues and others. Many members are certified Medical First Responders
We are always ready to accept new members. Your age or your abilities are not a factor. All training is free. If you are not sure fire fighting is right for you, come along to a Tuesday night practices at 7 p.m. Your hands will get dirty, you’ll sweat some too, and you’ll become part of an organization of men and women who share one thing in common – the volunteer spirit to help those in need
We are fortunate to have an active Ladies Auxiliary and several junior members. If you are between 11 and 15, male or female, you qualify to be a Junior member.
